I was looking at my diary for 2025 with a sense of despondency as I had no exciting trips to look forward.
Out of the blue, I received an invitation to be one of the guest authors aboard the Celebrity Reflection for the HISTORICALS ON THE HIGH SEAS reader convention in June.
OK… I live in Australia and the cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale in Florida and it’s a long way to travel! BUT I love cruises, I’m a huge fan girl of a couple of the other guest authors and as the Historical Novel Society of North America conference is in Las Vegas the following week, I have bitten the bullet and decided to attend both events.
What a fabulous opportunity to meet up with some of my American readers - (particularly as I will be signing books at both events) and just look at who will be my shipmates! There will be talks and workshops, dinners and tours… It is going to be so much fun!

And one of my favourite events in the writers’ calendar is the Australian Romance Readers multi city book events - A Romantic Rendezvous. This year they will be in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. You will find me at the Melbourne Event. The audiobook for AGONY IN AMETHYST has been finalised. It takes a little while to get it up on the distributors (so far only KOBO has it live**) but, for a short time, you can buy it direct from me for $15 (compared to $20 on the commercial retailers).
