Let’s kick off with the teaser from my recent interview with Paul Rushworth-Brown of History Bards. You can see the full interview HERE.
On the subject of videos, With the release of AGONY IN AMETHYST in a few short weeks, I will be putting together a Launch Day video. I thought of doing a live stream but the time zone differences make it so hard to find a time to suit everyone so it will be a pre-record.
I would love it if you could bombard me with all your burning Harriet questions and I will endeavour to answer them in the Launch Video… either comment here or send me an email!
The good news is that AGONY IN AMETHYST has now been uploaded to all the ebook retailers and should be available for you to preorder from your favourite store. The print book is also done (just waiting on the cover as I write), and I will be getting that up for preorder in the next few days. Narration is also underway with a release of the audiobook scheduled before Christmas.
And don’t forget you can read the first two chapters HERE.
IN OTHER NEWS
I have mentioned that the ebook rights to one of my favourite books, GATHER THE BONES, have been taken up by a UK publisher (Print and audio are still available). This is a hugely exciting venture for me and I am delighted to advise that the new look book, with its spiffy new cover, will be released on 24 October (just before AMETHYST!).
The best news is you can now preorder it on Kindle Unlimited or buy it for just 99c as a pre release special.
A gripping historical mystery about grief, love and the hauntings of the past
The love stories of two women from different times connected by the secrets of an old diary …
England 1923: After the loss of her husband during the Great War, grieving widow Helen Morrow and her young daughter move to England into the family estate her husband grew up in. They share the old house with Helen’s mother-in-law whom she never met and her husband’s reclusive cousin Paul. Helen wishes to finally get some answers as to what happened to the man she loved. Instead she finds an old diary of a woman who lived in the same house years ago and plunged the family into scandal before disappearing.
Together with Paul, who is still caught in the shadows of the war, Helen is looking for answers and finds herself drawn to the tortured, quiet man. And at night she seems to sense a lingering presence she can’t quite explain.
Soon Helen realises that she will not find peace or happiness until all the mysteries are solved.
All for now… throw those questions at me!
Best wishes
Alison
What happened between her "affair" with the umbrella and prison, and her losing her husband and son? What was that romance?
Looking forward to Harriet's next adventure.
